Hey y'all. I'm just wonderin' whats everyone's disaster plans are, be it Zombie/Apocalypses/SHTF(Shit hits the fan). What's in your SHTF package and what not?
My plan in general is try to escape and avoid the big city (Living in downtown's probably not my greatest life decision). And escape up north, where its colder and therefor has less things alive trying to kill me.
Things I'll take with my are just some spare clothe, a canteen of clean drinking water, crackers for emergency hunger, a pot to cook stuff with. And a crowbar, because crowbar never runs out of bullet, and Gorden Freeman saved the world with it.

Find the largest, sanest organization of humans, and work with them to try and restore the old world, but better. Something like the Followers of the Apocalypse.

Stay in my apartment, hope that zombies can't scale walls and slowly murder everyone in my apartment and become a cannibal.
either that or become a zombie. I'm not really much of a go save the world kind of person.

The problem with Costco is all the shelving it would be so difficult to completely clear the place it is a major zombie hazard. I'm hoping for a place with a tower a minimal amount of windows. As far away from the city as possible.

<- doesn't actually live in the city so will have a couple of days notice
I'd grab my wool sweater and coat and as much food as I could before heading "up north" I suppose, not the best plan but I think surviving is a little easier when everyone and their dog has a firearm you can loot when their zombies/not looking.
